NUTRIENT INPUT
Carry out a nutrient analysis prior to planting. Soyas are best suited to clayey loam soils (Red soils). Soya typically requires a high potassium blend, moderate amounts of phosphorus, and only small amounts of nitrogen at planting ("Soya blend"). Excessive use of Nitrogen is not recommended as it can negatively affect root nodulation which will be counterproductive to the crop.

Careful consideration is required for rhizobium seed inoculation. Rhizo Mic is a comprehensive biological seed dressing that helps fight soil-borne diseases, encourages root development and innoculates the seed with Rhizobium.
