Taxonomy: Bacterial infections (gram positive bacteria).

Description: Bacterial rotting that often starts in the stems and can move into the leaves in severe circumstances. This often happens after mechanical / physical damage to the crop following, wind, hale or damage from machinery. For more information follow use this link. 

Control general remarks: Avoid over irrigating. Consider using growth regulators if your crop is susceptible to lodging. Copper based products or Kobe can be used shortly after  there has been mechnical damage to the crop.
