DESCRIPTION: Household pest. Generally benign to household plants and crops. Ants often are distributed where there are other sap sucking pests. They can some times feed off the sap-sucking pests (aphids, mealybug) excrement. For more infomation refer to the Microgardener website (link).

DISTRIBUTION ON PLANT: Well distributed. 

LIFE-CYCLE: egg, larva, pupa, and adult.

DETRIMENT TO PLANTS: Minimal. 

ACTION THRESHOLD: N/A

REMARKS: Use insecticides as listed if problematic around the house.
